of maple syrup

shades?
A: The syrup comes in different shades, also know as “grades”,
the sugar content of the syrup is what determins the grades
of the sryup.
3. Do all maple tree produce sap
for making syrup?
A: No, only sugar maples produce sap.
4. When does the season start,
and how long does the season last?
A: The season lasts about 6 weeks, and generaly starts late
February, temperature is the main factor to the start of
the flowing sap.
